The other day, my internet froze and wouldn't do anything. I logged on and off and it started working again, but stopped again shortly afterwards.

I'm not clear if its an internet issue or space problem on my computer.

How can I check the available space and if its almost used up, how do I go about getting rid of unwanted stuff? I've already got rid of some games but to no effect. I'm not great on the computer, so simple instructions appreciated.

Thanks chrisgel. I got that far, but what next?
Right click on the drive you want to see the size of, select properties.

I can tell you now that it is NOT an issue with hard-drive space on your computer.

How are you connected to the internet? Wireless? Wired? Dongle?
How much space do you have. I take it it's drive C:
I don't think your problem will be down to lack of space on the drive but you may as well check while you're there.
What OS are you running. i.e. Windows xp or 7 or 8 ?

AB - I'm on Broadband. Disconnected from that and reconnected but no change.

chrisgel - Its Windows, not sure exactly what. I've had it sice 2008.

Looks like a call to the Broadband provider.

Thanks for comments. I'm posting from Work for obvious reasons - but my lunch break is up and I can't log on again today.
