I have been looking around online for good deals on office stationery, but there are so many websites to choose from. Can someone make some recommendations

are good but i use lyreco online, depending on size of company you can negotiate large discounts

I work for a stationery company and advise you NOT to use Lyreco. They end up switching items and really ripping you off (and they are French).

Thanks for the recommendations, just to let you know, I tried UK Office Direct as they appear to be cheaper then Staples. placed my order last night and await for it to be delivery - will let you know if what happens.
