Leaving aside the usual frothings of the Self-Righteous Brothers which always accompany a thread like this - the sentencing remarks posted by mushroom25 are all the more chilling for their (appropriate) dispassionate approach to the crime and the punishment.

Justice has been done, and has been seen to be done.

I hope that is some comfort for the loved ones of that poor little soul, but i doubt it.

What, hanging old women for harbouring rebels? If you do that, what are you going to do with those who abduct, abuse, kill and cut up little girls?
