I was called by 01132989890 this morning but did not make the phone in time, I do not recognise the number starting 011 and as I am now classed as a vulnerable old lady I don't want to call them back.
you only need to google it. if they're bothering other people, avoid them. don't call them back. have you registered with the Telephone Preference Service?
Have a look at sara's link. It's from a British Gas offshore call centre that has bothered many people for several years. Ignore and don't worry about it.
thanks folks British Gas did call me much later in the day and asked to speak to Mr Sa, then said they understood he wanted the meter changed, I did not connect the two calls until now, asked when he did this, recently she said to which I replied then you must be a f***ing spiritualist then and put the phone down, she did not ring back. Sorry but some people really rub you up the wrong way.
had an automted call from NHS yesterday regarding an appointment for my wife next week.
Went something like this - ' we have an appointment for (wife's name)
If you are (wife's name) press 1
If you are someone else press 2
If you can you bring ( ) to phone press 3
If you cannot, press 4 and we will ring you again with in 24 hours!!!
No chance to cancel or change appointment.
made me really mad at such stupidity especially as my wife is in a nursing home .
