For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.fyi - we had a problem where we were bought out by a japanese company and the logical domain after takeover was currently held by a high class escort !
we commenced negotiations and were looking to pay around 1k for the domain, we were a business with turnover of approx 15m if memory serves so those figures should help price your domain !
People used to register domains that big companies may want just in order to sell them on at a later date.
However a court ruled that you can only sell a domain name for what it's worth to you personally, so if you are using it to promote your business you would get more than if you are just using it for personal use.
Also if the domain name has a direct link to the company wanting it a court can rule that due to copyright law the domain actually belongs to the company and not to you...crap I know but hey it's the law.
The bottom line is a domain is only worth what another party is willing to pay for it.
As others have said, 100.00 is too little. If you are of the same mind, just tell them that it is not for sale at that price and that you will put it on ebay to let the open market decide what it is worth. Set yourself a reserve price (1k 'feels' about right) and let them take it from there.
Try and research their .de site too. They look like a smallish business selling cards, so if they are looking to expand into the UK market, they should have quite a budget for such an expansion. Which really makes me think that they are taking the p*** with the 100.00!
