Swimming Hat Help

Sorry, didn't seem to be an obvious place for this. My daughter starts going swimming with school this week and has to wear a swimming hat - what's the best way to get her bum-length hair inside it (she is going to have to do it herself)? She usually just has it in an ordinary plait for school.

Just a thought, but not about her hair. I used to collect my daughter from the swimming pool as she had ballet lessons on the same day just after swimming, anyway, I was allowed into the changing room to help hurry her along. I saw that a lot of the little girls were struggling to manage to dry themselves off with the bath towels they were using, so I bought Queenie a reasonaly large hand towel to use and she managed with that very well. She had progressed to a proper bath towel by the time she moved to secondary school, (didn't need me then either) but the hand towel worked quite well from the time she was five until she was about eight. I don't know how old your little girl is I just thought it might be a useful idea to save her struggle with a towel that is very large for a little one to manage
