Stye On Bottom Of Eye Lid...
10 Answers
How long do they normally last? I've had a stye on inside bottom of eyelid since 3rd May (over 4 wks now). Its no longer sore or itching but its still there (I can see it very clearly). Do I need get any treatment to help it go? I've basically left it to heal itself so far.

DJH, didn't realise I was run down? Is that was a stye means that I'm run down, I just thought was an infection. I'm not on iron tablets or vitamins, never have been. I have a reasonable good diet (plenty fruit, veg etc) and not stressed over anything. I'll pop to chemist after work and see what they suggest.

I've had them on my upper lid - turned out to be cysts and removed using liquid nitrogen. The Doc (epidermologist) in the USA then wanted to give me a complete body check - every square inch. She was rather nice too...however, I behaved - but it's odd having a person inspect every single bit of you from the soles of your feet to the top of your head. She removed three of those skin tags that beset fair-skinned people too, two on my thighs and one down the side of my chest.
Thank you all for your answers. I did have cysts on my eyelid (same place I have now) which were previously removed by hospital, they were cut away (3 on same eye all within month), this was over 8yrs ago and caused by allergic reaction to the shampoo I used at the time. I wonder then if a cyst again. I will venture to doctor to be on safe side.
