Finding that the more music I put on the computer the more it slows. Is there a site where I can save my music online?

When a file is stored on your hard disk, like a music file (or any other file) it just sits there doing nothing making no changes to the speed of your PC.
It is only when you click on it to play it or open it that it is loaded into memory and may make a SLIGHT impact on the speed of your PC.
If your PC is slowing down it is NOTHNG to do with how many pieces of music you have on the computer.

Got a new laptop. Samsung with an i5 processor. Thought it would be fast. Finding it rather slow, especially when it is updating stuff. I have put some music on it and thought that could be the reason which from the feed back it is not. Downloaded Norton antivirus that came with it free for 50 days. Thinking it could also be that. Or it maybe Windows 8 as this is completely new to me.

A better solution to storing online is to store your music on a off board storage device. A 1Tb external hard drive from Amazon now costs about £70. A 1Tb hard drive can hold about 250,000 songs - so if this is more than you need, then go for a smaller drive.
They plug into your USB drive, and away you go - rather than saving to an internal c: or d: drive, you simply save to the eternal drive.
There are a couple of good reasons for using an external drive. Firstly, if your laptop crashes and has to be rebuilt, your music is safe (because its on a separate drive).
Also, you can keep the drive separately from your laptop when you're not using it - making it nice and secure.
If, like me, you have a lot of music, saving it online may involve a monthly fee. If you have your own external drive, the cost is one-off.
Also, if you want to be REALLY secure, you could buy two drives and use one is your primary drive, and the other as a backup.
But that's if you are a little OCD, like me...
