last year i broke my toes, however i didn't know this was what i had done - docs thought i had been biten so i didn't get it x rayed. ABout 3 months later i found out they were broken. Because it was so long, my toe healed itself. Now i have a wonkey toe that is a lot lower than the others. Its impossible to wear shoes sometimes as the toe curls itself inside the shoe. If u have broken u're toes once is it possible to have them rebroken and corrected does anyone know??

If you go to your G.P. they ought to refer you to an Orthopaedic surgeon who will assess the matter, it sounds like you need treatment.
good luck
Sian.
I've broken a few toes in my time and all they do is strap them to another toe, until the pain goes. Don't know what else you can do.
You can have bones broken and reset but its not a procedure they will do lightly - I have a twisted knee and they refuse to fix it until it causes me great pain or affects me physically. But toes are so easy broken i honestly dont think they would do this anyway. Best thing to do is see your g.p
Like Neti, I have broken a few toes, and as she says, all they do is strap the broken toe to the toe next to it to act as a splint. However, I agree with nagnag, you ought to go to your GP as obviously your toe was not splinted in this way and the bone has become malformed. Good luck!
