For tea drinkers who take milk when should it go in the cup? After the tea or before?

Before the bloody tea bag of course...anything else is barbarity at its worst.
OH likes his tea left to stand until as he says you could trot a mouse across it then milk.
Milk after. My reasoning behind this; for the tea to extract (or brew) freshly without imparting any bitterness or 'off' flavours the water has to be as near to boiling point as you can get it.

Either pouring the water onto the milk or vice versa before adding the tea bag will reduce the temperature significantly and not allow the correct brewing activity to take place.
what booldawg said. If its tea from a pot then you can see the strength of it and add some water before adding the milk. If its a bag in a mug then the water goes n as near boiling as possible.
Squad exactly what I thought it was and was thinking oooo. Maybe me
Definitely in first and plenty of it so you can see the colour - grab teabag and wave around without squeezing then discard before it stews. Tea has to be the colour of magnolia paint or else I can't drink it. Probably why I ran out of milk this morning a la previous thread!

after for me

milk first.
I drink coffee, black!!

After, without a doubt
