Samsung YHJ070 mp3 player anyone got one?
Hi have recently got a Samsung yhj70 mp3 player but am now having to return it after a week as the samsung updates downloaded from their site messed it up. Music transfer was ok at first but it is the transfer of movies to the player I want help on. Mpeg files it says it is converting to svi files but they are not showing in the player. How would I convert a dvd I have onto the player?
Any help is appreciated!

Been great so far but I haven't bothered with updates from their site (not sure if necessary because ours should be the latest, witness the fact that it can be set to download AND charge while connected to the PC - mine is now- which is not covered in the manual). I haven't transferred any DVDs yet (need a program to get DVDs/VOB files into Mpeg). I had some old VCDs with 'rock' videos on them and they have gone over marvellously. I've also transferred some wedding videos that I took myself and had captured as Mpeg. Make sure you use the Multimedia Studio and play about with it - the instructions aren't very good. Stick with it!
Only thing I'm looking for now is a program to cut out the EU volume restriction.
Hi
Managed to find some software
Free-Codecs.com :: CloneDVD Mobile 1.0.1.1 : Converts your DVD movies quickly and easily into a format that your mobile equip.
The free-codecs site was supplied by the samsung player. Some of my dvds it could not convert as they were protected but it has managed to do one which is now on my player. The software seems to be on a 21 day trial unless you register.
