Bent Fuel Rail

in what way would a bent fuel rail affect a cars running, some of the injectors were not sitting in correctly, and the rail to the injectors are at a slant, also what is the affect of worn or bad injector seals

Smell, loss of fuel, chance of a fire.

petrol or diesel? worn injector seals can make a short, sharp squeak, sounds like tapping, and spoil performance and maybe fuel economy.
Any bends in the rail must be as smooth as possible to avoid kinks, this is a high pressure fuel line, any kinks could become cracks in no time at all with hideous consequences. Kinks can also hinder the fuel delivery, effecting the performance and economy.

i replaced fuel rail fuel filters and seals so it should be all fine now, although the car isn't going anywhere for the time being
