prince harry - charles or james hewitts son?

has harry ever had a dna test? has charles demanded this? Harry looks so like hewitt - The gingerish hair for a start - i can't understand why they haven't done anything about it - or have they?

any thoughts?

I think the simple reason is that it would cause such a scandal if it was revealed that the third in line to the British thrown is illegitimate, that they have always shied away from the issue. Also, how would you like it if your father suddenly told you he may not be your real father? Ignorance is bliss they say.

i think harry is old enough now to have his own doubts though surely. He must be aware of the suspicions - that he looks like neither of his parents or his brother, and he is ginger with freckles - he must wonder where these characteristics come from. the last ginger monarch was queen liz the 1st (i think) so it can't really have skipped a generation.

it would be horrible to be told that but i doubt it would be a total shock, not at his age.

perhaps they all know the answer and have just opted to keep it quiet?

He is Charles' sun, because he's the one who raised him, he's the one who's looked after him, and still does.

Whan does anything else matter. Especially to the general public?

I agree with the above, Charles has raised him he is his dad. However on father stakes my money would be on Hewitt, Harry is too attractive to have royal blood in him. William although considered a hotty years ago has got that wierd goofy unattractive look about him.

Bohne, the royal family, more than any other, depends on notions of the 'blood royal', the idea that only those from the right line can sit on the throne. I think those who are ruled over can take an interest in whether a prospective king fits the bill. In a way, it's not just his own legitimacy that's in question but that of the whole monarchy.

a) Charles is a decent man, and wouldn't want to know.

b) Yes Harry looks just like Diana's brother and father, the same colouring.

ps by the way, when I was 21 yrs old my father told me he wasn't my biogocial father but was and always had been my lovely dad. I admit it was shattering to start with, but love shone through.

I am one of 4. we all have dark hair and brown eyes (although mine isreddish) except my brother who has ginger hair and hazel eyes. We all look very different.

I have 5 kids. Two are platinum blond, one is darkish, one is ash and one ginger. they all look very different, although the two girls who look most similar do in fact have different bio fathers.

in the end, there must only be a finite number of face shapes. Some people are going to look similar. Doesnt mean they are related.

I am certain charles is a good dad and loves harry dearly, and as has been said he will always be 'dad' no matter what... i just wonder why no-one wants this matter solved once and for all (the queen for a start)

queen wasn't keen on diana near the end so you'd think she would have wanted this cleared up when harry was little.

though perhaps as has been noted, they feel he looks a little like dianas brother and father. I don't think he does really but i suppose these things do mix up a lot of combinations.

maybe they all know and are keeping schtum.

Harry is Charles son according to a book written by Simone Simmons, Diana The Last few years. Blood tests were done on both boys.

The upper classes are all inter-bred freaks anyway!
Chucky and Hewitt are probably related somewhere down the line as it is and the gene pool is very shallow amongst the Royals at the best of times.
Harry will probably end up marrying a distant cousin and they will have freaky looking children aswell - and so it goes on!
They all look like horses and their eyes are too far apart!

Harry has looked more and more like Charles I think as he has grown and if you look at their profile it is very similar ..... and I believe they did have a DNA test.

(1) It is an established historical fact that Princess Diana did not start her affair with James Hewitt until Harry was nearly 2.

(2) It has also been widely reported that DNA tests were done on both William and Harry many years ago, and confirmed that Charles is father of both of them..
