Wifi Symbol Has Disappeared From Mobile Phone Screen!

I have a Galaxy Ace 2 phone which is connected to WiFi at my BT Broadband Home Hub. The WiFi symbol has disappeared from the top of the phone screen. I have checked WiFi phone settings in phone and all seems normal. I have removed the battery from the phone and replaced it.
Still no symbol! I am wondering if I am connected or not?
Can anyone help?

have you got any internet connection?, is 3g showing? have you inadvertantly switched the wifi off?

does the wifi say connected to your home hub?

the only time i've done it, is when i've switched the auto wifi off by mistake. i'd call your provider

My granddaughter fixed it for me. Something to do with the password not being set, though it worked perfectly yesterday.
