They were different - and he was very good - but he should have planned for a negative result with a good joke at the ready. His disappointment was palpable – but then he is only 14. I can see him taking part in HIGNFY and QI in the not too distant future.

Disagree totally, Jack Carroll was certainly good and witty, but his final performance lacked something special. Attraction were the best by far in all the series, except for Gregg Pritchard whom I adored!!!!

Tough for a 14-year-old to miss out on the £250K winner's prize by one place but ... his career is probably set. If I was at a Las Vegas show, I'd probably rather see Attraction. Their semi-final performance was amazing. I didn't think their final performance was as good - it almost seemed that they were trying not to win but to say "Thanks for the ride"

My favourite act was The Luminites, and I thought Gabz was probably the most talented person on it - playing the piano and singing live decent songs that she'd written herself, aged 14, very impressive - but they only got 6.8% and 3.6% of the vote, respectively. Mind you, I didn't vote, and that's what it comes down to, isn't it ...
