Of course they're animals, with airs & graces to allow them to claim they are so superior to other species they are something else. They are just fortunate enough to have a relatively bettter mental ability allowing them to grasp concepts other species are unable to. Anyone who thinks otherwise is free to tell us whether they are plant or mineral instead.
