Is the official plural of Euro (in terms of currency) Euro or Euros?

I would say Euros, like pounds. But I noticed in Ireland they always say Euro. For example one advert on the radio said 'save thousands of Euro'.

You say, 'I weigh 12 stone' NOT 'stones' though.

Any Ideas?

is the EU official stance in several languages. In English, no s - but it does recognise the possibility.

I believe the plural is euro. I live in Ireland so the euro is our currency. Some people do say euros but when the currency was launched the media advised that the plural is euro
Over here in Spain we say euros.
I'd also read that it feels natural to say Euros but that the "correct" way (if there's such a thing) was to say Euro.
