Hi i was wondering if any of you guys know how to transfer music from my iPod onto the library of another computer. I have recently bought a new laptop for uni and i when i connect my ipod, it recognises that it already has music in the library and asks if i want to keep it or not. This is great, but i can't work out weather to click on 'Yes' or 'No' because I can't understand the way in which the question is phrased. (sad I know!)
I've done it once before and obviously pressed the wrong thing because it wiped all my music!! (Can't remember what button I clicked) I don't want this to happen again because now the original library on the old laptop has been wiped!! Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

i have a similar problem cos when i get a new Mac. i want to transfer all my music from my old one... found out though you can do it from computer to computer, but not from an ipod
or you can just treat your ipod like a hard drive and forget itunes copy the files off the ipod in to another folder, then just re import on your new itunes, you need to edit a little but works fine.
the idea of itunes is a single clinet and master with the ipod, ipod being a read only copy of itunes library, its easily fooled, though, so although its a hassle there are severel ways round it try the forums in ipodlounge.com
