.wps Files
I have created a document using Microsoft Works and sent it, as an email attachment to someone. But he can't open it. I am not sure what a .wps files means. How can I change it to a word file, that he shouldn't have problems with ?
He says that he has Microsft Works, the same as I do. If I send this attachment to myself, I can open it by saving it to my desktop and then double clicking on it. I'm not sure what is going wrong here !

I have tried everything but nothing works. Its about time that the 'net got around this problem of formats and software. You should just be able to send a simple document file and let the PC work it out, not all this faffing about with files types. When I put petrol in my car, I don't have to look in the bloody handbook, in order to start the engine.
I have now copied what was in the Microsoft Works file, straight into the body of a new email. I only used Works in the first place, so that I could edit and use bold, underline, etc.
Thanks to everybody !
