I sometimes wonder if I should take screenshots of my answers so that I can read them back to find the offending material!

some people type their answers in Word, then cut and paste them into AB - are you in trouble?

That is an excellent tip Boxtops!
The only problem is I'm mostly using an iPad these days and I'm not fully accomplished in cut paste etc...
I'm not in trouble per se, I've had what I thought was an objective and considered answer removed and a bit of a rant in reply.
I honestly can't think what was so objectionable to have it removed and I wish I could review it and try to read it through another's eyes to understand.

lol eccles.....which thread was it?
The most annoying part of a removal is that one has often 'invested' a few minutes of precious time only to see it cast aside with what can appear as contemptuous disdain at times.
From what I have seen, and a guess I admit, I would say that way over a third ought to stay - and then the other thing that seems to have been forgotten is the chance to remove an offending item/s and not the whole thread where several end up feeling frustrated and, sometimes, downright annoyed, having made contributions in good faith.
