Lost Property

I run a charity event for children, hiring a local authority venue in which to hold it. What are my responsibilities, if any, for personal property left behind afterwards?

Not sure about the legal situation but i would just hand any lost items to the local authority office that hired you the venue.

Agreed, with Eddie, hand it into the venue, perhaps with a note stating at which event it was left behind.
