1. I started new post this morning in different directorate. Pay increase and a GM who isn't a certifiable raving lunatic.

2. Today seems to have flown by.

3. I have 2 other Directorate Managers offering me weekend work.

4. Having a big reunion with friends soon

5. Off to Costa for a medium 1-shot skinny :-)

1. I held my newest grandchild for the first time yesterday - he is eleven days old.

2. Spent the weekend at Download - great music and some good friends.

3. Saw my oldest grandson confirmed yesterday - and had a lovely family meal afterwards.

I am so, so lucky!!!

2. Little Tiggs had his first £25 win on his premium bonds.

3. I got Tesco vouchers today in the post and they can be used online now as well as in store which helps.

Thank you Mammar. I used to teach medical stuff to pilots about the illnesses they could get in various countries and dengue fever was on the list, so I was curious about it as I never actually knew anyone who got it.

I could give you the gruesome details but it hardly seems appropriate on a 'cheerful' thread. Being a sensible lady she did all the right things and got away fairly lightly. It helps having friends who are doctors on the end of your iPhone
