Are you there sqad? Hubby was put on above tablets 8 days ago for DVT in his calf. So far he has been fine on them, but this morning he has what would seem to be a stomach upset, however I see that one of the possible side effects of the tabs is sickness etc. Would it suddenly kick in after over a week though? His leg is getting better!!

Yes...just got back from taking the "old lady" shopping.

I think it is unlikely that his "stomach upset" is a side effect of Xarelto.

it is important that he continues with his anti-coagulation therapy.

Just watch out that he doesn't vomit coffee coloured material or if he has diarrhea,the stools ar not black or tarry.

Monitor the situation.

Thanks Sqad. Just feeling very sick with watery diarrhea and headache at the moment. Don't want to hassle doctor for just a tummy bug, will see how things go.
