I need to cancel an appointment with the chiropodist. He calls at the house and has not got a regular surgery. I have lost his telephone number. I have tried everything I can think of - advertising sites and booklets, 118118 - who could not find anything although he has an unusual name - and the net. He is on the net but the address and telephone number are obsolete. Apparently he has not lived there for four years (very embarrassing) and they did not have a number for him. Anyone got any suggestions as to how to find him?

On a similar line of thought . . . Do you know anyone who uses the same chiropodist as you. If so, try asking them.

HOORAY!! SUCCESS!! I found someone with his phone number - not his address - but that will do, and I have phoned this morning and cancelled my appointment. When he calls again I shall tear him off a strip as the saying goes. As you say jno he is not exactly business like in his dealings. I think he must get his clients by word of mouth. He is very good though and my feet always feel much better when he does them.
Glad you solved it Star, have a lovely holiday.
I'm curious who was it that had his number? Enjoy your hols, spend the money you've saved on a glass or two!!!!

Yorky Lass - it was one of the ladies in the Flats for the elderly. Also he had a small ad on their notice board. Thank goodness. I have now entered his home number and his mobile number in my phone book.
