Where does Britain store it's nuclear weapons? They can't just be on submarines. And where are the silos that they would be fired from? Would we only fire them from submarines? I hardly think so. It just doesn't make sense. What if they were all destroyed in a first strike?

Go on, admit it... you are a spy for a foreign power, and this is a cunning ploy to get us to tell you where we store em isnt it? ;)
Oops... just on a more serious note... as protection against our nukes all being destroyed in a first strike, I would have thought that storing the things on the subs, most of which are out on patrol pretty much all the time would be an ideal solution.
As of March 1998 the only nuclear weapons Britain have are Trident - the submarine launched missle system.
Any 'bombs' we had (about 200) were dismantled in accordance with the the Strategic Defense Review.

My cousin was on a nuclear sub and i'm always grilling him for info. He insists that even if he did know were he was half the time (which he didnt) he would have to kill me if he told me.
Even when he has had a few drinks he wont say anything about what he did.
