Has anybody been watching this? Can't make up my mind as to whether I like it or not.

Comparisons to Red Dwarf are inevitable and Edgar is trying too hard with his Simon Pegg impersonation but apart from that its good.No real belly laughs but some good chuckles to be had.

Not showing off here but i went to school with the two writers. I have obviously followed their career and they have done some good stuff (big train, black books) but this is pretty stinky. Self indulgent if you ask me and dont think they have the talent to carry a show on their own.

It seems to me that its trying to be serious but in that ropey 70's kind of way (early star trek / blake 7 etc).

I think Nick Frost is a good actor but he seems lost in the show.

i beg to differ. A massive spaced, black book, big train fan...i think its ok. It does not compare to red dwarf, but I enjoy it. Different strokes for different folkes.
