I bought a load of herbs the other day and put them in one of those plastic greenhouses. The coriander had sold out but the guy said there`s still time to plant it from seed so that is what I`ve done. I haven`t grown anything from seed before. It`s in the plastic greenhouse with the front flap down at the moment. Should I bring it inside (considering the dire temperatures) until it sprouts or would it be OK outside?
No, it will be fine 237. I put in successional sowings of coriander from about Feb onwards. The only trouble you have to be careful of is that if it is indoors and its gets really hot in there, it bolts.

I've grown coriander outside in the soil & in pots. The only problems I've had is it tends to bolt & go to seed. Why not try growing it outside & in the greenhouse to hedge your bets.
