Opi Nail Polish

I've now bought 2 Opi nail polishes on a whim when going through airports at about £12 a pop. They are both rubbish, need at least 3 coats and chip within a day. Why does this brand get such rave reviews?

I use them and find them really good. Although admittedly I do use a good top coat.

I've used the nail hardener-ok-but polish wash rubbish like you say. I'd never pay full price for them.

Have you been putting clear coats on the top AND bottom of your nails? If not start with a clear coat and let if fully dry. Then do about two or three coats of your Opi nail polish. Make sure the polish is TOTALLY dry before doing a final clear coat on your nails. Hope I helped :)

Thanks for answers. jess I always use a basecoat but not usually time for a topcoat. My point is that a basecoat and topcoat makes a £2 bargain basement polish last so why pay for OPi? And yes I like Barry M, especially their jelly range, super shiny.
