How can I find my ISP? Not entirely sure what it means.
I've had my e-mails stopped for spamming. There's a bit of a convoluted trail but I've chased it back to 'spamhaus' who have told me to contact ISP.
Its a Blackberry phone with PAYG Vodafone, if that helps.
Anybody heard of 'spamhaus' or 'mimecast'? Is this fairly common?

It's only your sending of emails that's been blocked, so your access to AB shouldn't be affected.

If I was a spammer(big lol) wouldn't I be attacking sites like this and not sending individual e-mails?

svejk, they send out millions of emails to multiple private emails, hoping some will answer them and ID their addresses. My email was hacked last week, fortunately my email provider was quickly on the case.

What's the lats part of your email address? If it's hotmail.com, for example, then I think it'd be hotmail you need to contact a sthey are the ones who've put a block on it.
Maybe someone has hijacked your account in which case it's worth changing your password for emails

Your ISP is your internet service provider e.g the company that you pay to access the internet, most people don't use their mobile as their sole method of accessing the internet do you also have a computer that you can get onto the web with?

Spamhauz try to stop spam email and malware being distributed by keeping black lists of ip addresses and domains that are known to send that sort of thing. Companies then use these blacklists to prevent emails etc from these groups being recieved.

Your access to the internet is unaffected by not being able to email

From a previous question Svejk is talking about mails sent out by his company which seems to have been set up/configured by someone who is not available at the moment, that's where my ability to help ran out last time around.

I've got a lap-top, PAYG with 3 but I only use it to listen to music from i-tunes. ie don't go on internet with it. Mind you, sometimes I've woke up in the middle of the night and there's lights flashing left,right and centre on it.(Although its shut)
That's odd isn't it.
I think I need to contact Vodafone.

The advice to contact your ISP is only relevant if your IP address has become associated with spam. (Your IP address is a 'dotted quad', such as 78.123.832.27, that tells internet servers where you are). That's unlikely if you're using Vodafone PAYG, as your IP address almost certainly changes every time you connect.

It's more likely that your actual email address (e.g. [email protected]) has become associated with spam. If so you need to contact your email provider (which can be identified from the bit after the @ sign in your address).
