yay! i get to work at home this week and am currently writing our uni curriculum listening to funky tunes and signing my head off. wouldn't get away with that in the office......what are you guys up to? x
I've just finished lunch and watching Neighbours then I am going to do the chores(sofa's hoover and tidy the kitchen) then going to have an hour to myself and then going to make dinner :)
Cut grass and edges...planted out, moved some plants, put out a washing, swept patio and front path, rebarked a couple of beds, went round with slug and snail pellets...now watching wombledon !...federa just won his match, Andy out on centre court third..ladies next..sharapova I think ....will turn down sound..can't stand her shrieking !!!
Painting the spare bedroom. The more I prepare to paint though, the more other little things have to be done such as cleaning curtains, filling cracks etc. Thinking about rewarding myself with a beer when I`ve finished.
Listening to the R4 afternoon play. Making strawberry vodka, ice cream and leather. Tidying up around the house in between dipping in here and everything else.
would be on you tube, very loudly, but OH home early & not like same stuff as me.did some hoovering, which scared the cat out of house,as hoovering is a rare event here
I've just completed writing an interview feature with Daryl Jones who plays bass guitar with The Rolling Stones.
Monthly magazines work slowly, which is why an interview which I did a year ago is finally rumbling towards being printed.
It's so funny - I asked him if he could confirm the rumour that the Stones were playing Glastonbury in 2013, and he told me he honestly didn't know. When i had waxed lyrical for about ten minutes about the festival, he sounded very enthusiastic, having known nothing about it, and said he would talk to the band and suyggest that it would be good to do.
