Well it is a bargain if you can afford to throw away 25K on a gamble - it could stay where it is in which case it is an absolute bargain.

I suspect that whoever buys it won't have to worry at losing 25K

They say that a young couple who want to get on the housing market these days will have to save for decades. Given that an unfurnished two up two down around here rents for £1000+ per month which is dead money, the gamble of that house possibly lasting 3 years would pay off for someone trying to save on rent whilst saving for a deposit.

That would be fine but when you read the news article, there is court order on the house, preventing anyone who buys it from staying in it overnight.
