Grandson Has Just Purchased A Car. His Licence Has His Home Address On But Checking Insurance Rates It Is Much Cheaper To Insure From His University Address.would There Be Any Problem With This?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.He should ask the potential insurer- better to be safe than sorry- but I think it makes sense to use the university address if he's there for two thirds of the year. the fact that it may not be kept in a garage/driveway may affect the premium though. It may also be cheaper to name a parent/grandparent on the policy, and that may look odd if they don't live at the uni address
