I play the UK lotto online and money taken to cover rolling renew of tickets via Direct Debit.
So hands off you could say.
When I leave the uk for 3 years ...Can I continue to play the lotto or not ?
Rules as below ...indicate I can.
"Can I play while overseas?
No, to play UK National Lottery games online or by text, you must be a resident of the UK or Isle of Man at all times. You must also be physically located in the UK or Isle of Man when buying a ticket or when setting up or amending a Direct Debit Account, including changing your numbers or payment details.
If you do not meet these requirements, any ticket purchases you make will be declared invalid and no prizes paid, and we will have the right to reclaim any prizes already paid under these circumstances.
If you are experiencing problems accessing your Account from within the UK or Isle of Man, read our help section on overseas play."
I thought you couldn't. it will recognise that your ISP is not in UK irrelevant of where your bank account is. You can't even by UK Lotto tickets (from a phone, laptop) when abroad on holiday.
I will not be playing via text or while connected to the lotto web site from overseas. My tickets were set up online while I was physically located in the UK.
Guess easy option is to cancel it and do a Swiss lotto or Euro lotto
Why Worry, if you do win you'll be on the first plane home to claim the prize because, they will have emailed you to make you aware and congratulate you! You couldn't respond as you were on holiday. QED
have you ever won at on line bingo ? we used to do the lottery whilst residing in Dubai but it was in my brothers name and UK address we only one the odd £10 or £5 though.
