Setting up Bluetooth Headset

I'm having trouble pairing up my bluetooth headset and my phone. I have the Motorola V3 Razr and it's the matching headset. Please can someone tell me how to do it?

With the headset switched on, go into Settings > Connection > Bluetooth Link on your phone. Then choose 'Hands Free' , Power On, Look for Devices then let it do the scan.
