it may not be a big deal for most people, but i am relieved to have passed, and i shall sleep very calmly tonight

Congratulations Exce, I echo posts earlier regarding you not having to use your skill often. It is always good when training results in a ' pass' and a very good one it is.
Well done Excel ! It is daunting I agree but you will have to do all this again in your 'refresher' every 3 years :) it is worth it though to have this qualification under your belt ! Chin chin !
Hey well done you, I also echo what others have said and hope you never have to use your qualification.

thank you everyone
Well done, I done mine a while back, it is a lot to take in. I did use my resuscitation skills on a lady at work, I couldn't save her unfortunately, unknown to me she'd had an anurism, there was no chance for her. I think that was the hardest 20 minutes of my life, physically and emotionally.

that is a real shame, RATTER
but even though she was obviously doomed, you can be assured of the fact that you did do the correct thing at the time
well done excel, glad to hear you have mastered 600mg of Ibuprofen, three times a day.....
Very well done, excel. It's easy to go all fingers and thumbsy when someone is testing you.

Have a look at this occasionally as a quick refresher.

Was the ?? for me, excel?
Oh, righto.
Sqad's basic training in 1st Aid, excel............the magic cure for 95% of ailments and injuries.
Well done, Excel.

I used to be in charge of first aid in a secondary school. My record was 5 ambulance calls in a week (with 3 of them on the same day). Most of my training got put to good use, including the severed artery stuff. (You know you're going to have fun when, on the way into the office where the casualty is, a 12-year-old lad nearby tells you "It's just like that fountain in the city centre, sir!").

;-)
a few glasses of that Spanish tipple of yours is in order to celebrate, Excel....?

lol Buenchino

a sizeable percentage of my work colleagues certainly act like children, so anything could happen

we were also told that we can render aid to someone out in public if we feel it would not result in any backlash
