slow internet.

I have a BT broadband connection, my internet has been running slow the past couple off weeks so I did one of those connection speed tests and it came back saying 124Kbps, that to me seems a low speed but I have no idea where to fix the problem? is it my provider, or Internet connection or Pc? any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Cant help you hun but im with BT also broadband and home hub fone and i would be aswell not having the pc on its been running that slow personally i think its BT thats at fault

I'm also with BT & regularly get about 5Mbs when connected by Ethernet cable but only about half that when wireless

try a couple more speed test sites, sometimes it's the site your using that is slow not your connection

If they both show a really slow speed then switch your router off and on again... if that doesn't sort it then contact BT.
