Spa Recommendations
11 Answers
I need to move out of my house for a week and am thinking about going to a spa for a week.
Can anyone recommend a spa that is suitably geared up for week long stays rather than just a couple of nights?
England preferred but will consider South Wales and Southern Scotland.

I really enjoyed it, I was there for about 5 days. No idea what it's like now though, but the brand name is good!

Ooh you lucky so and so if there's one thing i love it's a good pampering at the spa with the ladies! So what is it, you by yourself? You and the girls? naughty weekend with the hubby? If it is make sure you get the works, mud, massage, facials manicure&pedicure, hair and have a champagne glass glued to your hand and always full especially if he's paying for it honey!
Oh and avoid the ones that involve a "fitness" weekend as the one i went to had a fitness instructor who appeared to be a nazi drill sergeant by the way he barked at us to "feel the burn" and "hit the floor and give him 20" and don't let me start about the food or the poor excuse for food which revolved around salads, steamed veg and bland chicken. I lost about 5lbs just from the stress from the nightmares about what the fitness instructor was going to do the next day to torture us. In the end i had to get a friend to visit us to smuggle in snacks and treats to stop us dying from starvation, my god a greggs pasty has never tasted so good! So be warned and stuff your handbag with chocs, biscuits and cakes if this is the type you end up going to. The one good thing was the rather tidy thai guy who done me, well my nails, ooh i'm in a wild mood tonight. So honey hope you have a good time and don't forget if you're going with hubby to go the the harrods lingerie section to pick up some high end goodies to really make your time there special.
