Any recommendations for a spa or hotel with a good spa for a couple of nights in eastern England?

Ickworth House (near Bury St Edmunds) is one of the region's major stately homes which, until the Marquess of Bristol ran out of money, was home to the Hervey family. It's now owned by the National Trust, with the east wing converted into a luxury hotel (set in beautiful grounds):

Where I live in Suffolk (near Ipswich), the name to drop if you want to impress people with where you've been is definitely Hintlesham Hall. (Superb food!):

Much as we Suffolk folk hate to admit it, Norfolk has a few good things to offer. Dunston Hall (on the edge of Norwich but, fortunately, on the road to Ipswich!) generally has a good reputation:
