Rub some Infacol on his gums, or similar tething gel, and get him a teething ring you can put in the freezer - the cold is very comforting for him, but do NOT give him any medication without asking your GP or midwife first.
you can give an 11 week old paracetamol. You MUST however consult a paediatric nurse/doctor to tell you the dosage. It may be as little as 0.25ml (dependent upon weight).
If you want a good night's sleep for both of you I suggest you call your health visitor and ask for advice, whilst s/he won't be able to advise on dosage they will be able to determine whether or not the crying is due to teething. good luck

I suggest rubbing bonjela on the gums. Re. infant paracetamol (calpol): I remember being told not to give it to a baby under 3 months old with the exception that I could give it after the two month vaccination i.e. 8-9 weeks. Hence I agree with nfn that you can give it, but you have to be very precise on dosage.
