The 70s dr who serial spearhead from space is due to be released on bluray. As this was never filmed in high definition will the quality be any better than the DVD release. Is this just another marketing ploy where people like myself have brought first on VHS, DVD & now bluray. What does anyone else think?

It was originally recorded on film, thus became available to transfer to HD. But I'll wait to read the reviews before coughing up for it.
