Answerbank Back Button

Anyone having trouble with the back button on AB? If I am in a page and click on a question I go to that page. When I click the the back button to return to the page I was on before I get a message saying Internet Explorer cannot display the web page. I don't get this on any other web sites. I have been on IE8 for a few months but this is recent.

I've just tried a few clicks on the back button (I assume that you mean the white arrow on a blue ground at the top left-hand corner), and it works fine. I have Internet Explorer 8, if that's of any help. Sometimes, a quick way of going back is to press and hold Alt while pressing the ← button on the right of the keyboard.
Hm, we haven't been able to recreate the issue. Is your IE8 up to date?
We'd also recommend another browser - if you have Windows 7 you can download Internet explorer 9 http:// windows .micros oft.com /en-gb/ interne t-explo rer/ie- 9-world wide-la nguages
Alternatives are Chrome: https:/ /www.go ogle.co m/intl/ en/chro me/brow ser/
and Firefox: http:// www.moz illa.or g/en-US /firefo x/new/
We work best in Chrome - although all modern browsers do better than IE8 and older.

I do not like Internet Explorer, hence the reason for having Firefox as my default browser. I do know for a fact that IE 8 has become problematic and, unless you change to another Browser such as Google or Firefox, you would be well advised to follow the rest of the Ed's advice ...update to IE9.... Even if your OS is Vista, as is mine.
You can have as many Browsers as you like; so it's worth trying something as an alternative to IE.
