Really gutted just bought my daughter a swarovski pendant from the Trafford Centre for her birthday for £130 and just found it on line for £55.00 do I feel really ripped off you bet I do.
Do I give it to her and say nothing, tell her, take it back???
I am very interested what others would do Help!

If there's still time for it to arrive I'd try to return it and then order online

the one on line would it be the real deal, that is the big problem, is it from a reputable source, if you think it is, take the other back for refund, and order the other one.

I would take it back,tell them about the online price, you never know they might do a price match.

I'd probably try to return it...but you have learned a valuable lesson. High mark-up items like jewellery and watches are CONSIDERABLY cheaper online, compared with shop.

and there are so many fakes out there, you won't know it till it arrives... and not always then.

It is on a genuine swarovski on line site with same product code and description but her birthday is tomorrow

i would stick with the one you have bought, seeing as it's tomorrow, you wouldn't get it in time, unless it's ordered and sent today, and then no guarantee it would get here tomorrow. I am always sceptical about buying on line...

i wouldn't - if there was a chance to save all that money, i would explain it to her (but also buy her something else with the extra or give her the cash) if you are not comfy telling her, just tell her you are waiting on an internet order to arrive and that you will give it to her when it comes

ps i would also do it for much less money (example: I bought my daughter's christening dress at debenhams online and the next week i saw it had been reduced by a tenner - i ordered it again, and took the first one back for a refund)

Unless the terms of the deal is that you can return the item for a full refund within a specified period – then you have no legal right to demand a refund. You will have entered into a legally binding contract for the goods, in return for paying the sum of money.

Many high street shops offer a no quibble refund policy – but they are under no obligation to do so.
