When the owner of this greyhound decided he wanted to get rid of it he cut off its ears, so it couldn't be identified by the markings there, and dumped it by the side of the road. If he's ever caught he should get a lifetime ban from keeping any animal.

While this is a terrible story of cruelty it should have a happy ending. The publicity will guarantee the dog will be offered a good home.

The link leads to a story that was transmitted on local television on the 6.30 news.
Am I a perve? Perhaps, but my pecadillos don't direct me towards cruelty to animals.
Sandy, I saw that on the news last weekend. Such a lovely dog, how could anybody be so cruel. As a friend said horsewhipping is too good for them.

Ya mean dog racing isn't filled with fluffy wuffy animal lovers like horse racing is?
