Katie Hopkins (of The Apprentice ilk) is a super snob! She critised children with 'common' names (ie Tyler, Chantelle, Brandon) and defies her children to even consider being their friends. A name like Tyler, conjours up her idea of being a naughty, unintelligent boy who doesnt do his homework - and therefore, none of her three children Poppy, India and Maximillian should ever be allowed to play with them!

Andy, I'm glad you corrected yourself. I was beginning to think you'd reached some ludicrous hippy extremes where we allow our children to go nameless until they can think of one for themselves :)

I wonder how Katie feels about her own name. It's not exactly uncommon. Think she'd let Katie Price round to play?

I don't agree with the point that she was trying to make, but I do think that people should think more of the future - Granny Chardonnay - Great-Aunt Apple? I thought that Bob Geldof and Paula Yates were going over the top with Fifi Trixiebell, Peaches and Pixie, but they seem comparatively normal compared with some of the names celebrities come up with nowadays.
