Hi,
i have two doors that have loads of glass panes, I want to paint then white, ( they are stained dark oak) but it looks like a nightmare, I am not much good at cutting in, as they call it, i think. any tips? masking? throw the doors away?
Thanks, annie.

I had exactly the same thing a few years ago, I wasn't relishing the thought of all that cutting in either! As I recall, I sanded down the wood to try to remove as much of the dark stain as possible (and give a "key" for the new paint), hoovered all the dust off, and applied masking tape to the panes.
I think I gave it at least 2 coats of white paint (or maybe 1 coat of undercoat, then 2 gloss).
Before I removed the masking tape I carefully scored around the edges of the tape with a stanley knife, so that when I peeled the tape off it didn't peel any paint off with it.
Yeah, it took a few minutes lol, but it turned out ok :)
