"Ah wush ah hud pink eyes" ----HELP!!!!

<P align=center>I am going mad trying to find out the title of a Scottish based film about a group of wee boys from 1950's.I think it was on TV around the early 70's and the storyline was about a stranger in town who was albino and had a volkswagen car and a telescope. The boys broke into his house with the intent of scaring him away,and looked through the telescope but when the albino returned he caught them red-handed. All escaped except the smallest boy of about 5 who was eventually befriended by the man who showed him the stars etc. He had a volkswagen car and the other boys thought he was an alien as they couldn't find the engine.

<P align=center>There was also something about an Orange Walk stopping outside a catholic family's door and playing loudly. It was a lovely film of growing up in 1950's Scotland and if anyone can help with a title I would be most grateful. Oh, the wee boy's memorable line was,&quot;Ah wush ah hud pink eyes&quot;

I remember seeing this I think in the 1980's. The man had a volkswagon beetle and when the boys saw the inside of the bonnet they were amazed to see no engine. Sorry I can't help you with the title though.

I've found it!!!!!!!!The film was made for TV in 1986 -directed by Chris Bernard who also did 'BRUM', 'A Letter to Brehznev' and lots more TV work. The film was called 'Shadow on the Earth' and based in a north of Scotland mining community.If anyone has access to this I would love to see it again.
