Please,please can we have a Debating Forum.I know I have raised it with you before but yet again another question on News re Capital Punishment.When a question is posted you are given a list of questions recently asked on a subject.Surely you would find your answer there without posting it.Its not like it hasnt been raised for 6 months and new people are on with differing views - its frequently brought into threads.

I know this suggestion would be extremely popular because in fairness other ABers dont know where to post issues they would like to discuss,although they might not be topical.

Drisgirl, sorry i meant to respond earlier but there was a touch of nastiness going on. I love a good exchange of views and opinions, what i think might be a good idea to add to your good idea, is if there was a standard of emocions that could be used to express mood, as they are on msn etc. I feel alot of the upset and misunderstanding could be avoided this way> What do you think?

I totally agree with you because at times my replies are tongue in cheek -or if I respond to a critisicm I would like the person to know that my feelings were hurt without resorting as I usually do to flying off the handle.

Sorry about the hassle you are yet again getting.Why do they target you?Its not like you are an easy target.Sorry to say but someone has it in for you and keep changing their names on a Fri.Dont worry we'll look out for you and get a couple of swift brandies down ya! x

I think thats a good point about the emoticons Dot.Sometimes a dry sense of humour can be taken completly the wrong way,and emoticons would make a big difference.

well I know that there is always room for humour but sometimes other folk miss it, so the different smilies help! It could be added to the site I am sure, well, i am not sure cos I know zilch about such stuff! :) Cheers for your support, it is bash a granny night again!

There was a chatroom on yahoo for many years called 'Intelligent Discussion' and the regulars in there talked about every subject under the sun and they were from all nations of course. I found it most interesting and was very sad the day it disappeared .
