What are you copying and pasting to?
Have suggested something on your other post
You need to export the text to a new document.

Highlight the selected text. (If you hold down Ctrl you can select lots of separate blocks at once, so that you'll only need to copy & paste once). Right-click on the text and select Copy. Open a new word processor document (e.g. in Microsoft Word or Notepad). Right-click and select Paste. Press Ctrl+P to print.
The way I do it with gmail is, open email, highlight & copy entire email, paste into M/s Word then delete what you don't require then print preview then print.

You've lost me a bit here - I hi-light just the part I want - I then press copy - then (for example) get up new email - position the curser where you want to place the piece you hilighted and click onto paste and voila..The other way is hilight part you want press the ctrl key+C then get new email or word doc etc.,, and press ctrl+V and its there..Hope this helps..
When you have your printer window open are you changing the setting to print selected rather than whole page?
