The government has the idea of giving tax breaks for married couples. It will be £150. Don't all rush! Which of you think that marriage is important, more important than simply being a committed, but unmarried, loving couple ?

SirRandy, now you are intriguing! Where are you (and can we all join?). I was thinking Isle of Man but their rate is 10 per cent rising to 20 on income tax. Anyway, it's a daft tax haven; who wants to live, even for 6 months a year, in a place where it rains all the time?
