Since my earlier thread on PAIN the edge has been taken off her hip/thigh pain since dropping the Paracetamols for Ibuprofen as you advised,thank you for that.
However the Phantom Pain has been horrific with lots of lightning stabs of pain .I am worried that she may be taking too much Gabapentin,yesterday she took a total of 5400mg ie 3 x 600mg 3 times a day.
Her doctor actually told her she could take up to 6 x 600mg in one go,I assume that this should be the max for the next 24 hours,my wife thinks differently.
Thankfully she does not appear to be having any side effects but unfortunately she still had a bad night with the Pain.
